Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy healing that was developed in the early 19th century in Japan. This “Energy” gives vitality to all living organisms.  It is known as IQ or CHI among the Chinese, PRANA in Hinduism, and KI in Japanese.  The energy flows through the body’s electrical channels or meridians.  When there is a disruption in this flow, or a blockage, it creates disease, chronic illnesses and fatigue.  On a spiritual level, Reiki Energy is energy called Source, Universe, Nature, or God. Science is able to measure the Earth's magnetic field and its correlation to its effect on the human body.  Thus, bringing credibility to alternative therapies using energy healing modalities such as Reiki.

Energy can stagnate when the body has been physically injured or has emotional pain, be it depression, stress, anxiety, or trauma. Over time, these energy blocks can cause illness or other health issues, such as insomnia, diabetes, and high blood pressure to name a few. The energy is Negative and therefore causes DIS-ease in the body.

The aim of Energy Healing is to help the flow of body; remove negativity and blockages non-invasively. It encourages physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing; thus realigning your body’s energy.  Improving the flow of energy around the body enables relaxation, relieves pain, quickens healing, and reduces symptoms of illness.  The body is then able to restore balance, creating harmony in the mind, body, and spirit allowing for a positive and healthy life.
